Well, I threw up a piece in my scrap collection, considering it is all I've gotten done so far.

I'm kind of lacking in inspiration, or maybe the more correct word would be motivation.
Yeah, motivation. I just have too many ideas, and am having trouble focusing on one specific concept. In addition, I can't seem to figure out what I want to draw. So, its looking like I'm stumped by my own inability to choose.

So, a friend of mine, who I haven't talked to in years (since high school really), friended me on Facebook, and we chatted for a bit. It was awesome. I've known the guy since we were both five years old. Hell, we used to live in the same neighborhood. Well, he seems to be doing well, though his own job/career is stuck in doing something he's good at, because he can't find what he really likes to do. I told him at least he has a job. He said something about getting paid to do nothing except try and figure things out. And we left it at that.
Though unemployment sucks, it does give you 40+ extra hours a week to figure things out, call people, network, and expand your horizons. So, I suppose he does have a point.

So, now I'm off to try to figure out some stories I could tell, or would want to tell. I suspect I'm more of a fantasy or science fiction writer than anything else, if simply because those tend to be the books I gravitate towards in any bookstore or library.

We'll see. As for the art thing. I'm open to suggestions. In fact, why don't we try that.
